The Bean is 33 feet high, 42 feet wide, and 66 feet long. It weighs about 110 tons — roughly the same as 15 adult elephants. Other landmarks in the city include Navy Pier, the Magnificent Mile, the Willis “Sears” Tower and Lincoln Park Zoo.

Summers are hot and humid, with frequent heat wavesWinters are relatively cold and snowy, although the city typically sees less snow and rain in winter than that experienced in the eastern Great Lakes region; blizzards do occur, as in 2011.
