Huvr FoRi (Fiber-Optic Ring Interferometer) system is designed for sensing of acoustic and mechanical disturbances along the close loop of Tactical Fiberoptic Cable, and can protect assets at up to a 20-mile radius.
Because of the system’s cost-effective Head Unit (interrogator), the said system is perfect for perimeter and area security applications for intrusion detection and monitoring and targeting small and medium-sized properties.
Fiberoptic Ring Interferometer
Operating on the principle of common path interferometry utilizing a fiberoptic loop as the sensing element.
The Huvr FoRi system allows the user to collect strategic information such as:
Acoustic “image ” recording
Determination of proximity or direction of the event
Recognition of the observed event.
Classification easily integrated through 3rd party software
The Huvr FoRi system operates on the principle of common path interferometry utilizing a fiberoptic loop as the sensing element.
Simple to deploy yet difficult to detect
Our miniaturized Fiber-Optic Ring Interferometer system is simple to deploy, and unlike traditional camera and motion detector systems, our FoRi is virtually undetectable.
The system is also mobile and deployable from a small package – with a nearly undetectable compact design.
The sensing perimeter loop could exceed 50km in length, or cover a substantial surface area for motion sensing.
The FORI is perceived as a technology competing with known Distributed Acoustic Sensing technologies based on backscattered light detection and is EMF resistant.
The FoRi detects the slightest movements.
Once deployed, the FoRi will pick up the slightest of movements including footsteps, vehicles, and even voices.
Waveforms on an Oscilloscope
Remote signals from the fiber optic cable deployed in the field are shown as waveforms on the oscilloscope.
- Super Sensitive – We use super sensitive low-loss fiber coils
- Acoustic Illustrations – Detections are picked up as waves
The Huvr Gov platform includes robust data security.
