Virtual Travel the Top 5 beaches in Italy for sun lovers in real-time right from your mobile device!

It’s summertime and the livin’ is easy! There are few things better than soaking up the sun on a beautiful beach. Italy is home to some of the most gorgeous beaches in Europe, so we thought we would share with you our list of the top 5 beaches for sun lovers. Which one will you visit virtually with Huvr?

In no particular order, here are our top five beaches in Italy to travel virtually:

The Amalfi Coast is one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in all of Europe. With dramatic cliffs and stunning views, it’s easy to understand why this area is such a popular tourist destination. The town of Amalfi is home to some lovely beaches, but the best one is probably Positano. The town itself can be a little crowded during peak summer months, so for more seclusion you should visit during the spring or fall when there are fewer tourists around.

The island of Capri is known as an Italian paradise and it’s easy to see why! There are several amazing beaches on the island, but one of our favorites is Marina Grande. Here you’ll find crystal clear waters and stunning views of Mount Solaro. Although Capri can be busy during peak season (May-October), it’s still worth a visit if only to enjoy the beautiful scenery!

One of Italy’s most popular tourist destinations is Sardinia and it’s easy to see why. With its stunning coastline, crystal clear waters and lovely beaches, it’s the perfect place to relax and soak up some sun. One of our favorite beaches on Sardinia is Cala Goloritzé which can be reached only by boat or foot. It’s definitely worth the trek as you’ll find yourself surrounded by the bluest of waters and dramatic cliffs.

Located on the island of Sicily, you’ll find Syracuse. Although it’s a big city, don’t worry about safety because there are some very lovely beaches nearby! One great beach to visit is Faraglioni which offers stunning views thanks to its location between three large rocks that jut out of the water. Another great beach near Syracuse is Fontane Bianche which happens to be one of Europe’s best beaches according to TripAdvisor. With its gorgeous white sand and clear blue waters, it will make you feel like you’re in a tropical paradise!

Last but not least we have Calabria. This region is located in the southern part of Italy and is a little harder to reach, but still well worth a visit. Our favorite beach here happens to be Praia A Mare which can only be reached by boat or foot. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful where there are fewer tourists around then this is it! The water is crystal clear and surrounded by lush vegetation.

So there you have it, our top five beaches in Italy for sun lovers! We hope you get to visit at least one of them this summer. With Huvr you will be able to virtually visit beaches around the world in real-time. Come experience the beauty and vibrance of Italy and its spectacular beaches! Buon viaggio!
